The Journey Behind the Pages

Like many first-time authors, I wrestled with self-doubt. I asked questions like, Who am I to

write this? My stories are so vulnerable, what will others think? and What if I’m not ready? But

something within me whispered, If your story helps one person heal, it’s worth sharing.

So, I kept writing. Some days the words flowed; other days they didn’t. There were long

stretches of silence when I wondered if I’d ever finish. But I learned that creativity is not about

perfection — it’s about permission. Giving myself permission to tell the truth became the turning

point.

At the beginning of 2025, a deeper knowing rose within me — a quiet but certain call that it was

time to truly commit to writing. Once I surrendered and showed up with full intention, the words

began to flow with surprising ease. I’ve come to believe that creativity is often about divine

timing — stepping into the space where your soul knows you’re meant to be.

Along the way, I found courage in the various writers communities that I participated in. The

support of other writers reminded me that we’re all just travelers on the same road — learning,

revising, and growing together. Their encouragement kept me accountable, and their faith helped

me hold onto my own.

One of my dear writer friends recommended me to an editor, and that connection led me to a

literary agent — someone who found me even though I wasn’t actively looking. From that

moment, doors kept opening in ways I could never have anticipated!

The Moment It Became Real

On September 30, 2025, my debut book, Touch of Divine Whispers (Vol. I of the Whispers of

Divine Love series), was officially published. I will never forget the moment I held it in my

hands for the first time. . I thought Is this real, is this an illusion? There was a quiet holiness in

that moment — like holding a piece of my soul made visible.

I thought about every night I wrote through tears, every fear I faced, and every small “yes” that

led to that day. Seeing my name in print wasn’t just an achievement; it was a homecoming. A

reminder that healing is never wasted — it becomes art when shared.

What I Learned

This journey has taught me more than I could have imagined.

  • Your pain has a pattern and a purpose. When you follow the threads of your story,

you’ll find Divine fingerprints everywhere.

  • Self-love is not a luxury; it’s your foundation. You can’t pour out truth if you’re empty

inside.

  • There’s no such thing as too late. The second half of life can be your soul’s comeback

season.

  • Your voice matters. Someone is waiting for the words only you can write.

To My Fellow Writers

If you’re somewhere in the middle of your story — maybe doubting, delaying, or trying to

perfect it — I want you to know this: your story is already enough. You don’t have to have it all

figured out before you begin. Just start where you are, write what’s true, and trust that the right

readers will find you.

Writing isn’t about having all the answers — it’s about opening your heart so others can

recognize their own.

So keep writing, keep believing, and keep becoming.

Because when your words finally make their way into the world, they won’t just change others

— they’ll remind you of how far you’ve come.

With gratitude and hope,
